thank you

It\’s been a hectic week, so I\’ve been spotty with my photo uploads. Today was the last day of my show/sale in Ryerson\’s Student Centre. Phew! I got into many interesting conversations over the past few days, the highlight being the one I had with a couple of campus security guards who asked if I did \”What\’s it called? Urb…that Urb Ex thing.\” They told me I was doing some great work, wished me good luck, and left.
So cool!
A huge thank you is due to my friend Mike Quigg for the bouquet of flowers pictured above and his kind advice. Mike is a photographer talented beyond words, and possibly the sweetest person I\’ve ever met. Do yourself a favour and acquaint yourself with his work.
I\’d also like to thank friends old and new for their encouragement and for taking the time to visit: Flickr friends Mike Lee, Brian, and Chris (whose visit was totally accidental, but totally awesome!); and Tom, Nick (painter\’s tape!), Diana, Jeyan, Matt, Maria (empanadas!), Rob, the Ryerson professor, and the girl selling cupcakes on Tuesday (free cupcake!!!). Oh and my roommate Jen, who left her necklace on the kitchen table. Now it\’s in my photo.
If you\’re visiting Pencilprism for the first time, welcome! It was nice meeting and chatting with you this week, and I hope you\’ll enjoy what I\’ve got to share with you this side of cyberspace.
